StarStick is a family business from Barcelona specialising in decorative children's wall stickers, educational stickers for schools and personalised wall art. Since 2011 we've been bringing fantasy and joy to the walls of families, schools and hospitals.
How it all started
In 2011, Xevi, Carina and Marta decided that products for children could be so much better. That they could have soul. That someone had to draw them properly, with care, thinking about that corner of a home where they'd live — or that school corridor children walk past every single day.
We started with decorative wall stickers and, over the years, we've grown the catalogue: name stickers, height charts, quote stickers, personalised wall art, self-adhesive wallpaper for walls and furniture, chalkboards, labels and much more. Always with the same principle: every product has a purpose behind it.
The people behind every sticker
Xevi — Illustrator and co-founder
Xevi draws every design by hand, with paper and pencil — one by one, no exceptions. No computer, no templates. Every line is unique because every drawing is unique. When he designs a children's sticker, he thinks about how the child will interact with that image on the wall. When he designs for schools, he thinks about what value he wants to convey and how to make it land with the little ones.
Carina — Production and product development
Once Xevi finishes drawing, Carina takes over: she digitalises each design, prepares it technically and takes it all the way through to printing at our Barcelona workshop. But Carina doesn't stop there — she's also the one who develops new products, improves the catalogue and works to make the shop easier and more enjoyable to use every day.
Marta — Customer care, shipping and shop improvement
Marta makes sure every order arrives perfectly at your door, looks after customers day to day and works to continuously improve the shop experience. If you have any question, there's a real person on the other side. We reply to every message within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
100% local and eco-responsible production
We design and produce all our stickers and prints in our Barcelona workshop, using certified European quality materials. We use eco-solvent inks and recyclable packaging because caring about what we make means caring about how we make it too.
We work with local suppliers and keep production small on purpose. Because growing too fast means losing something. And we're not willing to lose it.
